A snowstorm is expected to stretch from Colorado to Maine and warnings have been issued in 14 states. The storm is already barreling down on parts of the USA east coast with more than 60 million people being the victim of the winter storm watch.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has warned the citizens that the situation is dangerous and impossible to travel.
The heaviest snow is predicted to fall next Wednesday evening. They will see more snow than they have over the past couple of years.
Two people have died in Pennsylvania due to a car crash. Multiple people were involves in the crash, involving 30-60 vehicles.
Schools across the city have now moved to online schooling. Outdoor dining and public transport has been suspended till the storm reduces. Flights and rails have been stopped due to the weather not allowing travel under any circumstance.
Corona-virus testing sites have also been closed. Officials are monitoring the potential impact of the weather on the delivery and storage of the Pfizer’s vaccine.
Residents are asked to wear a mask even if they are shoveling at home.
The weather will have an impact on the citizens but will not last long according to weather officials.
