Senate Committee on Thursday has disclosed that the confirmation hearing of Kenneth Ian Juster to confirm the post of US Ambassador to India will be organized on October 3.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has scheduled the confirmation hearing within a month after the President Donald Trump nominated the 62-year-old his envoy to India.
According to the report published in the Economic Times, Senator Bob Corker, who is the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, would be presided the hearing at the Senate Dirksen Building.
Juster would be replacing the former US envoy to India, Richard Verma, who resigned on January 20 after Trump got elected as the President of United States. While speaking to the Forbes, Verma had asserted that Juster will also continue to support to India-US relations by taking to next level.
