In the two separate incidents occurred in California, two Sikhs have been killed within a week according to the reports by media as well as community organizations.
In the first incident, 68-year-old Subag Singh, who went missing since the morning of June 23, has been found dead in the canal with some brutal injuries on his body.
The security officials of the Fresno County in California has expressed that they are investigating the case to find the person involved in the killing of Singh.
Fox26 News media reports has confirmed that the body was found in the canal on McCall and Jensen and the security officials are investigating the matter further.

Even though the officials are maintaining silence over whether this was a hate crime, according to the the Sikh community members, this is not the first time it has happened. A local community leader Gurdeep Shergil asserted after the incident that the community is deeply hurted by the killings.
In the other incident, which occured on July 25, 20-year-old Simranjit Singh, who was working at a gas station, was shot dead by the men who had earlier assualted his co-worker, according to the media reports.
The Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF), on both the cases said that although it is very difficult to say that both the crimes were racially motivated at this point, the organization is working with the security as well as law enforment agencies to make sure that the detailed investigation is taking place in both the incidents.
Baldev Singh, Executive director of Baldev Singh, while asserting that both the attacks are inexcusable, said that the organization offer the deepest condolences to the families of both Subag and Simranjit Singh.
The increased attacks on the Sikhs in the country is a major concern and large number of people have been affected by these hate crime, according to the media reports.
