The President of United States Donald Trump honoured the two Indian-American businessmen to appreciate their contribution towards the US economy.
In an event in Oval Office of the White House on Tuesday the President felicitates Sharad Thakkar and Karan Arora along with seven other minority businessmen.
Arora, who is the head of Natural Vitamin Labs, is based in Florida. His firm is also a recipient of Minority Export Firm of Year award.
Indian H1-B Visa Holders Campaigning for Green Card
On the other hand, Sharad Thakkar, who is originally from Baroda, is the head of Polymer Technologies. He is based in Ohio and his company is one of the leading firms in providing solutions in home and lawn care as well as automobile.
Arora and Thakkar had come to US as students on H1-B visas and went on to receive the Green Card.
While appraising President Trump’s new policy, both Thakkar and Arora also asserted that Indian-Americans are giving their enormous contribution towards US economy.
