Another NRI hailing from Telangana in India breathed his last on Wednesday because of the Covid-19 infection. He died in the holy city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is the second reported death of a Telangana-NRI’s death in Makkah.
As per the reports, 18 Indians have died in Saudi Arabia because of Covid-19.
Mohammed Amar, 33-year old, who hails from the Korutla town in Jagtial district, was infected with the virus and was battling for his life since the past few days. Amar worked as an electrician in a maintenance company in Makkah.
According to the reports, Amar was admitted to the hospital last week after being tested positive for the virus. When his condition started deteriorating, he was transferred to a speciality hospital for further treatment. With the rising complications, Amar finally succumbed to death on Wednesday morning.
Earlier, two other NRIs, one from Nizamabad and Hyderabad have also lost their lives in Saudi Arabia because of the Covid-19 infection. Reports suggest that all three of them have been working as electricians in different companies in Saudi.
