Talented director Akshay Kumar seems to be in a storm with his back to back hits. After power packed hits like Airlift and Housefull 3 this year, the actor has been back with his third outing titled Rustom this year which too has been declared as a massive hit. Tinu Suresh Desai directed this thriller and Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz essayed the lead roles.
The movie released on August 12th during the Independence Day weekend and the film roared completely over the long weekend. The movie minted Rs 68.23 crores in its opening weekend and the film emerged as the second highest weekend opener after Salman Khan’s Sultan. The collections have been very strong even on weekdays and the movie minted Rs 75.87 crores in five days which is huge. Rustom is expected to mint huge money in its final run all over.
