After announcing that it will resume the premium processing for the H1-B visas, the United States has resumed the process for all the H1-B visa category. The processing was halted temporarily to control the huge rush of visa applications for work mainly by Indian professionals.

The process was temporarily stopped in the month of April, although the US government decided to open the few categories of the H1-B visa for fast processing in the month of September.

The US Citizenship and Immigration Services made it clear on Tuesday that the premium processing for all H1-B visa categories.

According to the US Congress, USCIS can issue around 65,000 H1-B visa every year and maximum of 20,000 visas who have received higher education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. However, H1B visa categories in academic and research institutes are exempted from the limit.

The agency guarantees around 15-day time to a person applying for visa under the premium service. If it fails to do so, the agency will refund all the charges of premium processing service and will also continue to process the application under expedited processing.
