In the Politico 50 List 2017 5 Indian-American names have been added for their contribution in the US Politics.
The list includes the name such as US Ambassador to UN Nikki Haley, top officer at HealthCare department Seema Verma, a lawyer Neal Katyal, leading economist Aparna Mathur and another lawyer, Neomi Rao.
45-year-old Haley, who has been placed at 22nd rank, has been described as the “Trump’s Foreign Policy good cop”.
After Haley, Verma has been ranked at 26th position and has been described as the “Medicaid rollback engineer”. The magazine also said that under verma the Obamacare has been a “law of land”.
Economist at the American Enterprise Institute, Aparna Mathur has been ranked at 32nd position in the list.
Neomi Rao, who has been described as the “Washington’s new regulatory Czar”, has been ranked at 42nd place. She works as the Director office of information and Regulatory affairs.
Neal Katyal,who has been the partner of President Trump’s legal nemesis in his battle of travel ban, has been ranked at 40th place.
