Since India is gearing up with better precautions, every single individual with an international travel history is being advised with home quarantine for safety measures.
A non-resident Indian, hailing from Kerala, was advised to stay in home quarantine for 14 days as he returned from Sharjah.
Recent reports suggest that the individual succumbed to death because of a heart attack. The 65 year old NRI, Abdul Khader, who is a resident of Kannariparamba was in home quarantine since March 21.
The police reported that the man didn’t showcase any possible signs of Covid-19 but was under self isolation for preventive measures after returning from abroad.
Shedding some light on this case, the police stated saying, “The relatives of the deceased took him to hospital after seeing him unconscious in his room. However he died before reaching the hospital.”
As per the medical college authorities, it was reported that the individual died because of a cardiac arrest.
But, owing to the possible complications of the coronavirus, the officials have reported that they are going to run his blood sample through testing for the coronavirus to check whether or not he was infected with it.
The reports further suggest that the body has been kept in the morgue at the Kannur Medical College and is going to be handed over to his family only if his blood reports come out as negative.
