The Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University has issued an order to expel 25 students enrolled in MBBS course in the Sakshi Medical College and Research Center in Guna under the NRI quota in the year 2016-17.
The decision has come after the Medical University asked all the colleges to reply within seven days along with all the information about the admission of students under NRI quota. Only three colleges responded to the order and Sakshi College was one of them.

While speaking to the Times of India, vice chancellor of the university R K Sharma said that it has been found that illegal admissions have been given to these students under the NRI quota. There is also not an iota of evidence that these students appeared for the Common Entrance Test. He also added that the University has already issued a show-cause notice to the college.
The University has acted upon a list of 25 students sent by the Medical Council of India to the university. The names of the students, however, are not mentioned in the list.
