To celebrate the company’s 2020 achievements, Infosys CEO Salil Parekh will be ringing the closing bells in a ceromony hosted at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Friday. They will also be commemorating the eight anniversary of the company’s listing on the exchange.
Infosys managed to achieve carbon neutrality 30 years ahead of 2050 which was the timeline set by the Paris Agreement.
Other achievements the company will be celebrating include rapid growth in the United States and their Environmental, Social and Governance Vision for 2030.
Despite multiple challenges the economy faced during the pandemic, Infosys has remained steadfast and committed to helping global enterprises navigate their challenges via rapid digital acceleration.
Infosys is also planning on creating 25,000 American Jobs by 2022 while bearing in mind to keep employees wellness and health as a priority. The company plans on hiring 12,000 American workers over the next two years, and 25,000 employees over the next five years.
So far, Infosys has created 13,000 jobs in the United States. The company is setting high aspirations towards becoming better and incorporating diversity and good technological and community strategies for the following years.
