An Indian-origin woman has been harassed badly on the social media as her name resembles that of Sherin Mathews’ mother.
Sherin Mathews, 3-year-old adopted Indian girl, was found dead near her home in Suburban Dallas on October 22, after she went missing on October 7. She was adopted by a couple, Sini Mathews and Wesley Mathews from an orphanage in India last year.
Another woman with the same name has been badly harassed on the social media by large number of people mistakenly identifying her as the mother of a dead child.
False photos of her was shared wrongly on the internet even after she changed her name as well as the privacy settings on social media, according to a media report.

Wesley Mathews has already been abducted in the case by the police under the charges of causing injury to the child. He had claimed that he sent the toddler outside as a punishment for not drinking the milk at around 3 am on October 7 after which the 3-year-old child went missing.
However, later Wesley confessed that he choked the girl to the death for not drinking milk and removed her body from the house believing that she was died.
