The Indian-origin metal tycoon Sanjeev Gupta has received the “Real Innovator” award by the London Business School for his contribution in reviving the UK steel sector for the last two years.
Gupta also received a special Geroge Bernard Shaw Unreasonable Person accolade for refusing to accept the traditional viewpoint that the metal industry of Britain is on decline.

While presenting the award he was cited as the man, who rescued major metal engineering plant in the country and saved throusands of jobs.
Gupta was also felicitated for his work in spreading the bsuiness to Australia, where CFG Alliance has recently acquired the country’s largest steel business.
