An Indian origin businessman, Gurpreet Singh, 42, in United Kingdom has been accused for his wife’s murder almost after three months of discovering Sarabjit Kaur’s, 38, body at their residence in Wolverhampton.
The accuse have been charged on Wednesday by West Midlands Police and he appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on today for his wife’s murder, who was found unconscious on February 16, 2018.
A post-mortem revealed that Kaur died as a result of asphyxiation, the state of being deprived of oxygen. By the condition of home at the time of incident has led to the supposition that she had been killed as a result of burglary.

“This is a murder that has really shocked the local community and we have been working falt-out to move the investigation forward,” said Detective Chief Inspector Chris Mallett.
He further said, “Kaur was attacked inside her home. This is a shocking case, the likes of which are extremely rare and we have a team of officers working on this murder inquiry to establish what happened and to finding the person or people responsible.”
The police noted that interior of home was in untidy condition which could indicate that it had been searched and they even found some items are lacking.
