An Indian man was found dead in Canada days after being the prime suspect in the murder case of his ex-wife Heeral last week.
The man has been identified as Rakesh Patel of 36 years of age and as the husband of Heeral who was found dead in Brampton city of Canada last week, by the local police on Monday.
The local police has said in a statement that the body of Rakesh Patel has been found in the city of Toronto although not much information regarding the circumstances of his death has been revealed by the police but has mentioned that his death will not be pursued as a criminal investigation.
Rakesh has been the prime suspect in the murder case of his 28- year- old wife Heeral who was found dead in the Brampton city of Canada on January 13.
A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for Rakesh as he was charged of first- degree murder after the Heeral had gone missing on January 11 and her corpse had been found in a wooden area in Brampton.
The police reports has confirmed on Monday that the cops had found the body of 36- year- old Rakesh near a hydro tower in Etobicoke area. The body was said to be found hanging, as said by the sources though there had not been any confirmation of the report.
The family members of Rakesh has been claiming that Rakesh was once threatened by one of his relative that he would get her killed. The relative is said to be based in the US. Heeral’s family members had claimed that, the body of Rakesh had injury marks.
The 2009 model Honda civic car which belonged to Rakesh Patel has been found parked near a casino.
Heeral and Rakesh Patel had been married in 2013 and Heeral has settled in Canada with her in-laws. Heeral is said to have experienced strained relations with her husband and he in-laws which led to the couple deciding to file for a divorce. The couple were reportedly married foe five years before they had separated in August 2019.
