Indian expat has been diagnosed with novel coronavirus in the United Arab Emirates, as said by authorities in UAE. The total number of cases in the country that have been confirmed of the deadly coronavirus have been increased to eight.
The death toll in the coronavirus that has been started in the Wuhan city of China has increased to 1,016 where as the cases that have been confirmed of being infected has gone up to 42,638, as mentioned by the health officials of China on Tuesday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) of the United Arab Emirates, it has been said that the Indian national who has been diagnosed as being infected by the deadly novel coronavirus has interacted with a patient who has been recently diagnosed with the disease and therefore the virus has been transmitted from the infected patient to the Indian national.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention has said in a tweet that the announcement regarding the eighth confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in the United Arab Emirates has been made.
The ministry has also said on Sunday that two new patients have been diagnosed with the disease and the patients have been identified as one being a Chinese national and the other as a Filipino. It had added saying that the patients were receiving medical care as per the highest health standards that are available in the United Arab Emirates.
A family of four who have arrived from Wuhan for a holiday in Dubai have been diagnosed with coronavirus, last week and the fifth person that has been identified with the deadly novel coronavirus has said to be arrived from the city of China and was confirmed to have been infected with the coronavirus and has also been reported as being in a stable condition.
The Wuhan city of China has been identified as the epicenter for the deadly novel coronavirus and the virus has been spread across the world claiming several lives and infecting many more. The first death regarding the coronavirus has been recorded in Philippines.
The coronavirus has been spreading over several countries which includes Germany, Britain, Italy and also other European nations like France, Russia, Belgium, Sweden, Finland and Spain.
Three cases have been confirmed in India in the state of Kerala.
