The decision by the US government to resume the H1-B visa processing after a period of five months has been welcomed by the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC).
The visa processing was stopped around five months ago due to the high demand of the H1-B visas especially by the IT professionals.
Appreciating the decision, Raju Bhatnagar, while speaking to the Economic Times said that this decision sends a right signal to the Indian IT industry, which was in danger after few decisions by the Trump Administration.
He also added that resumption of H1B visa process reiterates the contribution of the Indian IT professionals in the US economy.
Under the “Hire American” policy of the newly elected President Donald Trump and executive order had been signed stopping the visa abuses.
