Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley asserted that he has urged the US government to change the stand on the H1-B visa holders as they play a key role in contributing to the US Economy.
While speaking exclusively to ANI, Finance Minister, who currently is in Washington DC to attend the meetings of World Bank and International Monetary Fund, has said that he has made it clear to the US officials that Indians holding H1-B visa are not illegal economic migrants.

Recently, the US government has also started the rapid processing of H1-B visa application, which was earlier halted temporarily due to curb the huge rush of applications. The H1-B visa is more popular among the IT aspirants want to work in the United States.
Arun Jaitley also added further that the two counties shares “very mutual relationship”.
Finance Minister also responded on the question on President Trump’s latest tweet on improving relationship with Pakistan and said that it would not appropriate to comment on such issues, which are internal affairs of United States.
