The Telugu community in London performed the iconic Lambada dance in the Diwali celebrations, which was organized at the Trafalgar Square in front of the London mayor Sadiq Khan, who described the whole event as “fantastic”.
Even though the Diwali celebrations at the Trafalgar Square has been organized since last 16 years, this year the folk theme was decided as Telugus.

Along with London mayor Sadiq Khan, deputy mayor of the city Rajesh Agarwal and Indian High Commissioner of India Y K Sinha was also present.
During the festival, iconic London Eye was also lit up in the tricolor. The event, which was attended by around 30,000 people, is considered as one of the biggest in UK as well as in Europe.
