Delivery and shipping companies are predicting that they will probably face stress in deliveries while shipping COVID-19 vaccines throughout the country.
Companies responsible for the deliveries of the vaccines include UPS and FEDEX. Issues related to crimes and transportation problems are some of the main concerns. Since the vaccines should be stored in difficult conditions such as cold storage and must be delivered in a specific time to keep the vaccine from becoming fatal and unusable for patients.
The US government is demanding that delivery services might be packed and continuously busy during the shipping and delivery of the vaccination when the Pfizer’s vaccine arrives.
Since the vaccination is of highest priority at the moment, delivery services will be jammed and prioritizing the vaccination delivery to care centers and health care facilities.
Delivery services are stating that they will employ more drivers to deal with the packages and security to ensure safe delivery of the vaccines.
The vaccines are expected to be delivered through out USA care centers and health care facilities in the early 2021. The priority for the vaccine will be given to citizens aged above 80, care center workers, patients who are suffering from the COVID -19 virus and hospital workers.
