Dates, Nuts and Coconut Balls are healthy, tasty and prefect for any special occasion. These balls can be easily prepared at your home with easily available ingredients. It has a nice flavor and taste and also has a nice aroma and also has an amazing combination of mixed nuts, grated coconut and dates. This snack is prefect after school snack for your kid’s. Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped dates (khajur)
- 15-20 finely chopped almonds (badam)
- 15-20 finely chopped pistachios
- 20-25 finely chopped cashew nuts (kaju)
- 2 tbsp ghee
For The Garnish
- dessicated coconut, as needed
- cocoa powder, as needed
Directions
- Heat the ghee in a broad non-stick pan, add the dates and cook on a low flame for 3 to 4 minutes and stir continuously.
- Switch off the flame, add the chopped almonds, pistachios and cashew nuts and mix it well and keep the mixture aside to cool completely.
- Once cooled, divide the mixture into 10 equal portions and shape each portion into round balls.
- Take a ball and roll half the side of the ball with the dessicated coconut and the remaining half with cocoa powder.
- Serve it immediately or store at room temperature in an airtight container and enjoy when ever you want to.
