With the NRI Marriage Registration law passed recently in the Lok Sabha, it is not surprising that the same is a much needed breakthrough to cater to the plight of the suffering Indian women. Popular Bhojpuri actress, Neha Bansal is one such victim trapped in the caging of such a marriage.
In a recently viral video published by the actress herself, Bansal was found in a state of distress. She pleaded to PM Narendra Modi to do something to stop her husband, Vijay Thakkar from running away. The alleged is an US NRI. Neha said that she met Thakkar on a matrimonial site and that the two got married six months prior.
Neha further said in the video that she had to sell every last item in her possession to be able to arrange money for her marriage. The alleged has not just mistreated Neha but has also not taken her with him and threatened her in several ways. She also alleged that her husband vandalized her property.
Her wedding with the US NRI which happened 6 months before was attended by some of the popular TV personalities like Ahsan Qureshi, Arvinder Singh, Gulshan Pandey and several others.
