The Chinese students leads the list of largest number of students in the universities in United States. Indian students, who are on second place in terms of population, are almost half of Chinese students’ number, according to the senior official at USIEF.
The US Consulate General, Public Affairs Officers and Director of American Center, Jamie Dragon has asserted that China had 3,20,000 students, while 1,66,000 students was studying in the last academic year.
He also went on to say that China had beaten India six years ago and the gap between the students of both the countries is widening.

The students from New Delhi and Mumbai are way more better than other metros such as Kolkata, where large number of students go to the US every year for academic reasons, said Dragon.
He has also promised that the statistics of the students appearing in the US universities in this academic year will be released soon. The effect of Donald Trump’s selection as President on students of other countries coming into the US will also be seen in the report.
