A fire in the Tucson area has burned 6,200 acres which is threatening for hundreds of homes. The fire was sparked by lightning in Pima County last week on June 5th which later grew widely. For now only 10% is contained.

The fire threatened danger to 850 homes around Oro Valley and Catalina Foothills. The officials alerted the evacuation of 200 homes immediately.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) cautioned Arizona state for funds to calm the blazed fire as it possesses major destruction.

Nearly 419 firefighters are fighting the fire in the Santa Catalina Mountains. Weather conditions are the major concern here. The FEMA will take care of 75% firefighting costs.

People in Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Eastern California are under red flag warnings from Friday. The population together in these places is over 6 million.

More fire to blaze with speed wind in the area which is dry and hot conditions. This can rapidly increase the fire blazing.

In the regions of Southern Rockies and Southern High plains is forecasted with dry thunderstorms which also may give space for new fires.
