From January 9 2021 onwards, Air India will begin a direct flight from Hyderabad and Chicago making-this the first schedules service between south Indian and the United States. The Bangalore airport announced that Air India will start a weekly nonstop between Bangalore and Sn Francisco from January 11, 2021 onwards. American Airlines is making plans to connect Bangalore to Seattle during the winter.
Travelling a distance of 8701 miles which is approximately, 14,003 km, the Bangalore- SAN Francisco non stop will be the longest route top operate by and US carrier and Air India themselves.
Air India will also be the first flight services to operate a direct flight system from India to the United States of America and the first flight service for south India as well.
