Indian- American Nandita Bakshi has been appointed the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of the West, a unit of French banking giant BNP Paribas. Ms. Bakhshi holds a Masters of Arts degree in international relations from Jadavpur University in India. She is a history graduate from University of Calcutta.
