Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is appreciated by a million fans not only from India but all around the world. He is now all set to venture into American cricket.
Shah Rukh Khan has invested and acquired the LA franchise in the soon-to-be major cricket league which will be hosted and played in the US. The league will have six teams- New York, Sn Francisco, Washington DC, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles.
Shah Rukh Khan will be catering to the same team in the same manner which he assisted the Kolkata Knight Riders during the Indian Premier League and the Trinbago Knight Riders for the Caribbean Premier League.
This is the USA’s first professional major T20 league. The league will feature international players from the host country and around the world. The focus of this league will be to develop the homegrown player pool for the USA league. The leagues inaugural season will be in 2022.
Shah Rukh Khan has a deepened interest in the American League. The Bolllywood megastar wishes to expand the Knight Riders brand globally, by watching the potential for T20 cricket in the USA. The Major League Cricket has potential to help the Knight Riders Franchise grown now and in the coming years.
The actor’s company will contribute towards building cricket stadiums in American cities involved in the tournament to generate interest for fans.
The Major League Circket organizers stated that they will deliver the highest quality of cricket for their T20 fans in the US. This includes a huge number of immigrants in the USA from the Indian subcontinent.
Organizers stated that the league will feature top cricket players from around the world and focus on developing a pathway for homegrown players to increase their potential for USA cricket.
