Canada plans to expand its immigration percentage by the end of 2023 to help boost Canada’s economy.
Canada admissions program will be focused on bringing in immigrants from all over the world to Canada under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class, the Start-up Visa and Self Employed Persons program.
The Canadian government has declared that they will increase immigration in the state to support and boost the economy’s recovery once the pandemic recedes. Under the 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan announced a week ago, the country’s plans on taking in 400,000 permanent residents each year, which is 60% more than last year’s immigration percentage. All the new entrees are from the Economic class.
Some sources state that Canada is expected to welcome more than 1 million new permanent residents in the next three years. Their plan is to gradually welcome immigrants into the country to benefit them, as well as the country.
The purpose of this incentive is not help stakeholders all across Canada including urban planners forecast what steps they need to take to support the economic and social integration of newcomers.

Canada will continue to increase its immigration levels in order to sustain its high living standards. The aging of its society over generations will weaken labour force and economic growth as its fiscal costs in areas such as health care rise. However, there will be some negative attributes to take into action. First and fores-most, delivering quality health care to its aging population will become even more expensive.
Immigration will help to grow the size of Canada’s labour force, giving Canada a steady supply of people to contribute to its economy as workers, consumers, tax payers and citizens.
