George Floyd’s death triggered outraged protests in various parts of the world. Based on the situation, Australia PM tells his people not to take part in the black lives matter protests which is expected the gathering of thousands in New South Wales city.
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison urged the citizens not to participate in the protests against black lives brutality. The protests are expected to be held with a crowd of thousands this weekend. Several people would come together to raise their voice to highlight Australia’s own record of Indigeinous deaths in custody.The government of New South Wales took court action to stop the rally to avoid the coronavirus spread without social distancing.

The Prime Minister said, people must express their pain and anger through some other way. He also said that it is “important” for people to show the right to protest but the current situation has a higher potential of spreading virus over the real issue of black lives.
The protest made in Sydney this week was with huge numbers and they failed to follow the social distancing rules set by the government.
Mr.Morrison addressed Australia “I said at the outset that we had to deal with this crisis in a way consistent with our values and who we are as Australians and that is true,” he said.
“But with those liberties come great responsibility.” “This isn’t about issues regarding people’s ability to express themselves and engage in protest activity.”
Australia is about to ease restrictions after reducing the coronavirus cases. As of now, it is recorded with 490 cases with 25 people undergoing the treatment.
The advice not to take part in the protest is not just from the nation’s PM but also from the Health Minister Greg Hunt. The minister said “I would not want people to be exposed and bring it back to their families, to their communities”.
