Policeman fired after killing a 46 year old African American, George Floyd. The bystanders shot the scene where the poor man couldn’t move as the officer choked his neck with kneels. The officers also taunted him by uttering the sarcastic words “get up and get in the car”.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey fired four police officers for the death of George Floyd.
Frey said, “For five minutes, we watched as a white officer pressed his knee into the neck of a black man”
He added “Being black in America should not be a death sentence.”
The policemen treated George Floyd brutally and after this, the four policemen fired for their violent act.
Floyd pleaded with the police “Your knee in my neck. I can’t breathe… Mama. Mama”. Police aggression led a man to death. All this act was recorded by the people around in the place.
After the police attack on Floy, he was taken to a hospital and declared dead.
Police gave a statement related to this case earlier “As additional information has been made available, it has been determined that the Federal Bureau of Investigation will be a part of this investigation.”
According to the Minneapolis police, the incident took place on Monday at 8 PM, when the policemen were called to report about a man attempting to use forged documents at Cup Foods in Chicago Avenue South. They asked the store manager about the police call but they refused to answer.
Within a few minutes, the police officers found Floyd in a car and he appeared intoxicated, said the police. The police officers got Floy out of the car.
Police spokesman John Elder said to the reporters “After he got out, he physically resisted officers.”
“Officers were able to get the suspect into handcuffs and officers noticed that the man was going into medical distress.”
The shot video circulated on social media in which it clearly shows the policeman was pressing the black man’s neck with his knee.
The video recording shows the people’s agony while the incident was happening. One bystander said “He’s not even resisting arrest right now, bro,” Other one tells the white officer and his partner in the video. “You’re f—ing stopping his breathing right now, you think that’s cool?”
Hundreds of protesters came together over the death of George Floyd. People stood with raised fists and they all held the boards of Floyd’s voice that are recorded in the footage “I cant breath”, “Don’t kill me”.
