Sucheta Satish, a thirteen-year-old Indian girl in Dubai has won the 100 Global Child Prodigy Award for the longest live concert by a child and for signing in most of the languages during one concert, says media report on Friday.
According to the report by Khaleej Times, the 13-year-old student in Dubai Indian High School can sing in 120 languages.
Satish said, “I was selected for the award for my twin world records for singing in most languages during one concert and the longest live singing concert by a child which I had set as a 12-year-old two years ago in Dubai at the Indian Consulate Auditorium when I sang in 102 languages over 6.15 hours.”
‘Ya Habibi’, the second album of Satish was recently launched in the presence of Malayalam superstar Mammooty and actor Unni Mukundan.
“I met them when they were in Dubai to promote the movie Mamangam. Both of them wished me well, and I was on cloud nine,” said Satish as quoted by a newspaper.
Satish said that she has been practising every day and that she was making sure that it doesn’t affect her studies.
The report said that the 100 Global Child Prodigy Award which celebrates the talent of children in various categories like dance, music, arts, writing, acting, modelling, science, innovation, sports and is supported by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation and AR Rahman an Oscar winning music director, among the others.
