Barron’s, an American weekly newspaper has rolled up their annual list of the world’s Best Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) in which HDFC’s Managing Director, Aditya Puri has made to the list for the consecutive fourth time.
This year, Barron’s cleaved CEOs into three groups:
Visionary Founders, Growth Leaders and Turnaround Experts.
One of the world’s best CEO in growth leader category has been acknowledged as Aditya Puri. Puri recognized by the publication as a leader who turned a start-up into banking giant and aided in bringing Indians into modern financial era.
The list as well includes Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe Systems and Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, recognized as one of the world’s best growth leader and world’s best CEO in the turnaround experts category respectively.
The list further saw some of the beginners like James Whitehurst at Red Hat and Jayshree Ullal at Arista Networks etc.
Barron’s screened the S&P 500 index and 250 ample non-U.S. companies to arrive at the list of World’s Best 30 CEOs for components including revenue, earnings growth and share-price execution over the past five years.
