The Senate of the United States has cleared the posting of 3 Indian-Americans on key positions in the Trump Administration including the intellectual property.
While Vishal Amin has been appointed as Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator, Neil Chaterjee has been appointed as the memeber of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Another Indian-American Krishna Urs has been appointed as the US Ambassador to Peru.
Urs, who is working in the foreign services since 1986, is the second Indian-American after Nikki Haley appointed on the position of ambassador by the Trump Administration.

Mr Amin, on the other hand, has been chosen as the chief of the Enforcement of Intellectual property, the area which have difference between India and the United States. The Us has also retained India on its priority watch list claiming the lack of improvement in the area.
Currently worrking as an adviser of the energy policies to the Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell, Neil Chatterjee has worked on improving energy, highway as well as agriculture infrasturcture.
Krishna Urs, working currently as the charge d’affairs of the US Embassy in Madrid, Spain, is specialised in economic issues. He also has the experience of working at seven United States embassies along with working as a senior post in the Washington DC.
