8 Indians win Dirham 1 million each in a jackpot in a mega raffle draw in Abu Dhabi along with 2 other nationals.
The largest mega draw was organized at Abu Dhabi International Airport on Thursday where the participants received many luxury cars as well as cash prizes in the capital city of Dubai.
Along with 8 Indians, a Canadian national and a woman from Philippines also won the dream prize.
43-year-old, Chandresh Motivaras, who is working as a chief accountant with a jeweler’s group in Dubai since 2005 said although he doesn’t have any investment till now, he would plan once he receives money.
While speaking to the Gulf News, another winner Abhaya Kumar Krishnan, who is working as a purchasing manager at Spinneys’ in Abu Dhabi said that although I didn’t believe in the news at first but then when he received a call for a second time he was shocked and happy at the same time.
He will be sharing the money with his friend as they bought the ticket together. He also said that he would like to donate some part of the prize to the charity in Kerala in education sector.
Sundaran Nalamkandathil, a 47-year-old jewelery designer living in Ajman for 24 years, who bought the ticket with other 20 people said that he is too delighted after receiving the money as his niece’s wedding is in December.
