Covid-19 lockdown has taught us how to survive, work, and even enjoy virtually.
It is apparent for your child to wish to go out in the open and have fun on Children’s day but sadly it not as easy as it sounds. Why let Children’s day be ordinary and boring?
Make it special by giving your child quality time and attention. Wondering how to make the virtual event a memorable day for your tiny tot?
Here are tips for making Children’s Day entertaining, exciting and engaging!
Tip 1 – Decorate The Living Room
Most of us have grown up watching colorful strings hanging across the doors and balloons bouncing or bursting around. Isn’t it?
So, why not start Children’s day by decorating your living room?
Gather everything your have, pick up balloons, strings, or flowers and glam it up all around.
Tip 2 – Bake A Cake
Most children love relishing cakes as much as they enjoy getting shabby in its cream.
If your child loves cakes, bake a small cake at home. In case your child doesn’t like cakes make what he/she enjoys eating.
What would make the surprise even more interesting is in how you present it.
Perhaps through a treasure hunt game you can surprise your child with a cake.
Tip 3 – Dance For Your Child
Prepare a 2 or 3 minute dance performance for your child. Pick your child’s favorite song and give it your best shot regardless of being a good or bad dancer.
Tip 4 – Design A Greeting Card
Kids love surprises and enjoy being appreciated. This children’s day, put your creativity to use and make a greeting card wherein you add color as well as appreciate your child’s strengths.
Tip 5 – Spend Time Cuddling
This way of making your child feel special goes without saying. Wishing your child a ‘Happy Children’s Day’ give him or her a long hug and loads of kisses.
Love being showered helps your child feel secure and happy.
Tip 6 – Hide A Small Gift In Every Corner Of The House
Back to back surprises would live a big smile on your child’s face.
Giving your child a couple of gifts at once would be usual. Instead, hide every gift in different corners of your house and wrap every gift with a warm note.
Tip 7 – Video Of Favorite Teacher’s Wishes
Get in touch with your child’s favorite teachers and ask them to make a short video of wishing your child and speaking a line of how they feel about your child.
Make a collage of these videos and play it on a big screen for your child to feel happy about hearing from his/her favorite teacher’s.
Virtual Children’s day might not be the best, but as parents you can make it fun by planning activities in prior. Children are a blessing and even if it takes hours of planning and hard-work, it is all worth their happiness.
