Many from abroad are residing in parts of the UAE. Now after the coronavirus pandemic, it is expected more than 1.2 million foreigners will leave the country this year.
The Saudi Labour Market Developments prepared a report where the analysis showed that millions of foreigners will quit the country by the end of 2020. Already 300000 expats left the country according to the reports.
Foreigners leaving Saudi Arabia is due to the associated impact on the unemployment rates and jobs market. The present rate of unemployment in UAE is 12% which will continue to be the same throughout 2020.
The highly affected sectors in UAE are food services, hospitality and support activities. This also includes the routine activities like travel businesses, rent and leasing, securities.
The report analysis includes the analysis of the business environment improving in the second half this year. The new improvement of employment for Saudi citizens will increase during the last few months of the year. There are chances of demand for goods and services far away from now,probably in the last quarter of the year.
